This is a full-time, exempt position hiring at the following rates based on relevant experience & certifications:

• Level I Electrical Field Engineers are offered between $60,320.00-$67,329.00 per year.
• Level II Electrical Field Engineers are offered between $66,560.00-$73,569.60 per year.
• Level III Electrical Field Engineers are offered between $72,800.00-$79,809.60 per year.
• Level IV Electrical Field Engineers are offered between $83,200.00-$90,209.60 per year.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (ALL LEVELS)

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or computer science engineering from an ABET accredited engineering school.
• Member of professional practice organization, member of local program or committee.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Ability to work in inclement weather in a mountainous environment at heights in excess of 20 feet.
• Authorized to work in the United States of America.
• Proficient in the English language.

LEVEL-SPECIFIC, ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Electrical Field Engineer I

• Proficiency in electrical engineering principles and practices, including the ability to design, evaluate and troubleshoot complex electrical systems and components.
• Demonstrated understanding of the principles of relational databases, application interfaces, and Human-Machine-Interface design.
• Exposure to National Electrical Code (NEC) and Arc-Flash (NFPA-70) desired.

Electrical Field Engineer II

• At least 3 years’ experience as a practicing engineer.
• Experience with simulation and modeling software, such as MATLAB, SPICE or PLECS.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as UL, CE and FCC.
• All qualifications listed in Electrical Field Engineer I.

Electrical Field Engineer III

• At least 1 year of experience as a practicing engineer.
• All qualifications listed in Electrical Field Engineer I & II.

Electrical Field Engineer IV

• At least 4 years’ experience as a practicing engineer.
• At least 2 years’ design experience, including Electrical CAD systems & database management.
• All qualifications listed in Electrical Field Engineer I, II & III.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS (ALL LEVELS)

• At least 5 years’ experience with Microsoft Office tools.
• At least 3 years’ design experience, including Electrical CAD systems & database management.
• At least 2 years’ experience with integrated automation/information systems in manufacturing.
• At least 2 years’ experience with Rockwell Software.
• At least 2 years’ experience with DC and/or AC drives and motors.
