In this position, you will oversee a variety of tasks associated with the installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of commercial electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment. Your duties will include developing and installing electrical conduits for power and lighting in storage areas, as well as diagnosing and resolving power outages and short circuits. Additionally, you will be responsible for repairing controllers, lights, power circuits, and electrical generators, along with installing both open and concealed wiring, switches, and controls.
Your role will also encompass the installation, alteration, repair, maintenance, and testing of various electrical equipment and connections. This will involve removing, repairing, and replacing defective controls and components, performing preventative maintenance on electrical equipment, panels, and generators, and interpreting blueprints to identify issues within a range of electrical systems. You will troubleshoot and address power failures and electrical malfunctions, including replacing worn or faulty switches and outlets. Moreover, you will guide authorized county personnel in the installation of electrical devices for equipment and lighting in personnel buildings and storage areas, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
