Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for projects located in and around Minden, LA. This is a first-shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $32/hour based on experience plus $100/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
- Install complex conduit configurations
- Pull wire and perform terminations
- Hand bend conduit and make precise EMT piping bends with minimal waste or joints
- Install conduit stub-ups for customer-supplied equipment
- Install standard and complex conduit and electrical components into buildings
- Install UPS systems, DLO cables, and fire alarm panels
- Set and wire switchgear
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of Journeyman-level electrical experience
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, and diagrams
- Knowledge of NEC codes, color codes, and American wire standards
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
- Must have basic hand tools and PPE
