Qualifications/Skills Requirements:
· Solid, proven design experience in the development of single line diagrams, P&IDs, control schematics, connection diagrams, plan drawings, and details for construction plan sets.
· Experience compiling, editing and delivering written construction specifications.
· Working knowledge of the NEC and NFPA 820.
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills including detailed report preparation.
· Excellent computer, math, and English skills.
· Ability to work independently on design projects.
· Ability to visit job sites and field identify equipment.
· Friendly with the ability to interact with various personalities.
Preferred Education and Experience:
· Master’s degree (or higher) in electrical engineering, or related field.
· PMP Certification
· 7+ years of experience in design engineering with a focus on Electrical Engineering with a specific emphasis in the Water/Wastewater industry.

Duties/Responsibilities:
· Lead team of designers and lower-level engineers in the development of design plans.
· Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to develop electrical and I&C designs.
· Be responsive to client’s technical project needs and inform Electrical Department Manager and other department managers of critical information or decisions.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to travel occasionally to various job sites and traverse locations to obtain necessary data.
