The Electrical Assembler plays a vital role in our operations by performing electrical installations on all products, troubleshooting, servicing, diagnosing failures, and making repairs on electrical and/or other various systems. 


Roles & Responsibilities

1.     Electrical Installation: Follow instructions and perform work to install electrical components accurately and efficiently.

2.     Troubleshooting: Utilize test equipment to troubleshoot problems effectively, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

3.     Documentation: Prepare documentation, administer physical inspections, and complete sign-off books to ensure proper documentation of work performed.

4.     Final System Checks: Conduct final system checks to verify proper installation, functionality, and compliance with standards and specifications.

5.     Adaptability: Adapt to new situations and systems on the production line or in the service shop, including older units, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills.

6.     Testing and Installation: Effectively test, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems, products, assemblies, and/or components, meeting quality and safety standards.

7.     Communication: Communicate potential quality and/or compliance deviations effectively to appropriate stakeholders, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

8.     Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and demonstrate manual dexterity necessary for performing tasks effectively.


Education & Experience

    Prior experience in an E-Tech role on oilfield/power generation equipment preferred.

    Technical certification or relevant vocational training in electrical systems preferred.

    Effective time management skills to assist in coordinating the department over multiple shifts.

    Ability to lift 50 lbs./ manual dexterity. 

    Demonstrate teamwork and commitment to ongoing training for success in the position. 

    Read and interpret blueprints/ drawing specifications.

    Able to operate and maintain general hand and air tools – brake, sheer grinding equipment. 

    Have an understanding of standard work procedures. 

    Follow and give oral and written instructions; maintain cooperative working relationships; demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse population.
