Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler/Panel Builder to build, wire, and assemble electrical control panels and subassemblies in accordance with schematics, drawings, and specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read electrical prints, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire electrical control panels, junction boxes, and subassemblies
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials
  • Mount components such as PLCs, relays, breakers, power supplies, and terminal blocks
  • Perform point-to-point wiring, cable routing, labeling, and wire termination
  • Drill, tap, and prepare enclosures and back panels as required
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications
  • Troubleshoot and correct wiring errors or component issues
  • Follow electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members as needed

 Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience as an electrical assembler, panel builder, or similar role
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in panel building
  • Knowledge of industrial electrical components and wiring practices
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical training or certification in electrical systems or industrial controls
  • Experience with UL 508A panel standards
  • Familiarity with PLC systems and industrial automation
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

 Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Manual dexterity for precise wiring and assembly tasks

 Work Environment

  • Manufacturing or shop floor environment
  • May involve exposure to noise, electrical equipment, and tools
