Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Electrical Foremen to lead and manage field crews on active electrical projects throughout Maryland and the Northeast. This role requires a proven leader with hands-on experience supervising skilled electricians, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and effectively managing people and jobsite challenges, including conflict resolution.
Qualified candidates should bring broad construction experience across industrial and manufacturing environments, power plants, commercial facilities, aggregates, oil and gas, factories, production plants, coal, solar, and wind energy projects.
Pay ranges from $35 to $45 per hour, based on experience. A $100 per day per diem or single occupancy lodging plus a $46 meal expense is provided and paid all seven days when traveling.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, lead, motivate, and instruct electrical crews
- Coordinate daily work activities to ensure productivity and schedule adherence
- Ensure on-time and accurate reporting, including:
- Timecards
- Material lists and usage tracking
- Act as the primary point of contact between the field and project management
- Maintain job site safety, quality, and performance standards
- Manage crew dynamics and handle conflict resolution professionally and effectively
- Lead by example with a hands-on approach when needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman or similar leadership role
- Must possess a Journeyman’s Electrical License from at least one state (Maryland preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to manage larger crews
- Strong organizational and reporting skills
- Effective communicator with solid soft skills and a personable leadership style
- Ability to keep projects moving while maintaining crew morale and accountability
- Licensing and certification requirements to be confirmed
