Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated electrical designer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to professional growth. In this role, you will work under the guidance of project leaders to deliver high-quality design and project documentation, actively supporting our core values of integrity, excellence, and partnership. You will be responsible for performing technical design calculations, developing floor plans, and producing schematic diagrams, all while adhering to established standards and project budgets.


The ideal candidate is a quick learner who applies theoretical knowledge to practical challenges, demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and maintains high ethical standards. Proficiency in design software such as Revit is essential, along with effective communication and organizational skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Performs routine code review and analysis.
  • Performs routine design calculations and sizes standard equipment.
  • Follows design standards set by the Project Manager, Lead Engineer, and Engineer of Record.
  • Researches and presents equipment and design options to the Project Manager, Lead Engineer, and Engineer of Record.
  • Follows company master design standards.
  • Ensures that the QA/QC process is followed and documented.
  • Develops a working knowledge of all system types within their discipline.
  • Develops knowledge of current design trends and best practices.
  • Creates project specific details, schematics, and sketches.
  • Assembles specifications, including project specific information.
Requirements

You Will Need to Have:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field from an accredited university or college
  • At least 2 years of related building systems design experience
  • Proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD
  • Microsoft Office Suite of products experience

Salary Range: $69,500 - $94,500 annually.

Individual employee compensation is determined with a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, knowledge, skills, geography, and performance. Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
